Sorry, I understand it's cheesy, but I'm starting a sort of club from scratch. Well, not really club, but a vigilante group. Kind of like Batman and Robin, except the FJF will cover a lot more people.
What is the purpose of the FJF?
Basically, you know about all those recolors out on YouTube, Photobucket, and LiveVideo? You know the ones. Where some kid basically gives a make-over to a screenshot of an anime. Or, worse, they recolor someone's fanart without permission from the original artist. Well, the FJF basically finds the originals (ie the picture before it was recolored) on DeviantART, and then proceeds to inform the artist where this recolor is. We also ask the artist if they gave permission for the art to even be used or edited in the first place.

))What's the big deal about recolors?
The big deal is someone who is lazy and uncreative is getting praise for work that was 99% done by the real artist. The recolorist didn't have to figure out a pose, how the clothes fall, or the proportions. Neither does the recolorist have to figure out where the shading lays or where the highlights go. They use real artist's hard work to get a cheap rendition of praise from other recolorists
What's more, they're killing their own talent by recoloring. They can be improving greatly if they just draw their own pictures.
And, of course, they're violating Copyright when they post a picture that doesn't belong to them on YouTube or LiveVideo. They're basically breaking the law.
